How it all began...
Hi, my name is Kristin and I’m the founder of More Than A Sparrow. I’ve always had a passion for helping women, I’m an entrepreneur at heart, and I love creating beautiful things so launching this business came quite naturally for me. With a few pieces of leather, some tools, and a desire to make a difference in the world, I began creating beautiful handmade earrings as a way to remind women of just how much they are loved!
If you're wondering why I named my business More Than a Sparrow, it came about after I read Matthew 10:29-31. I had been going through a particularly difficult time in my life when I read these words spoken by Jesus, "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." It felt like he was speaking directly to me. I needed to hear those words...maybe you do too.
The truth is, that despite how you feel, you are worth more than a sparrow to God. You are His treasured daughter. Wholly loved. Completely known. Forever cherished.
The future He has for you is good; when you begin to doubt this remember that you are worth more than a sparrow.
**In an effort to help end human trafficking, More Than A Sparrow will donate 10% of all sales to A21, a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to abolish slavery everywhere, forever!

Our sweet-tempered Siberian Husky loves to be nearby while I'm working on my designs. He truly is the best companion and he's always willing to do a trick or two as long as there's a treat involved. He makes working from home such a joy!
